Hello friends! For today’s card, I decided to have some fun with a technique I have been wanting to try but had not up until now – emboss resist!
I started by stamping a large floral image from the Newton’s Nook Blooming Botanicals Stamp Set using Sizzix Clear Embossing Ink. I then used Ranger Clear Embossing Powder to emboss the image.
Once embossed, I applied a layer of Twisted Citron Distress Oxide and then a layer of Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide to achieve my desired colour. Once fully ink blended, I wiped away the ink on top of the embossed image.
To complete the card, stamped a sentiment from the same stamp set to match the image and placed both the sentiment and card panel on matching cardstock.
Thanks for reading. Catch ya next time!
